Teresa and Darren Griffith
This is the farm Teresa grew up on! Her grandfather bought the land, already cleared for farming but with a strip of bush along the north edge. Her father took over, married her mother and raised her along with 2 sisters on this very farm. They raised cows, sheep, chickens and grew crops on the land. As an adult, Teresa has lived in a few places over the years, but was able to return to the farm and became inspired to create a care farm. She is patient, kind, and wise.
Darren grew up in Camrose, often playing in nearby farmers’ fields as a kid. He then lived in Edmonton, Cochrane, Beijing, and with Teresa in High Level, AB. He has really taken to the farm life and is quite handy at fixing things. He has a techy side but is also willing to get his hands dirty and do what needs to be done! He is very kind and caring towards all the animals and people in his life.
